After our last song, those of us who were leading sensed that God wanted to do something more. We opened it up for any of the students to share. The first young woman expressed a sense that God was calling her to be a missionary. Others followed sharing deep hurts and struggles.

I thought about her words in a parental sense. What if the next time my kids want to watch a questionable movie, play a violent video game, or want to treat someone poorly, I simply responded to them as this woman did to her dog by saying, “No. I am sorry. We don’t roll in poop.”?

Ever feel discouraged because you have failed at something. I came across this video that tells the stories of a number of famous failures. It was an encouragement to me and I hope it is to you as well.
