Serving the Community
Community Service Team
Living Hope is serious about serving our community. A team has been organized to help facilitate random acts of love for our church to participate in. We have planted gardens, fed and housed the homeless, helped residents at a low income apartment complex, painted and cleaned up a local elementary school, as well as many other projects. If you would like to participate in an outreach event or have ideas for the team, contact Cheri Brokaw at 541-5547605.
Supervised Visitation Program
Living Hope has partnered with CAFA (Christians Addressing Family Abuse) to provide a low cost option for parents to see their children when supervision is required. Volunteers are trained and supervised by CAFA for visitation sessions at Living Hope. If you are interested in helping this program, contact the church office.
Emergency Family Shelter
Each Fall Living Hope hosts homeless families for two weeks from St. Vincent Depaul’s Emergency Shelter program. Volunteers are need to help with meals, provide entertainment, and to make our guests feel welcome. Call the church office for specific dates.
